Gangtok and Darjeeling Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Our representative will meet you at the airport and assist you to Darjeeling. The scenic beauty of the Himalayas and aromatic tea gardens are the major crowd puller here. You get a chance to ride on the Toy Train in Darjeeling. On your arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax. Then, you can spend the rest of the day as you wish. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 2
Start the day early and drive towards Tiger Hill, the highest point of Darjeeling. Catch the first rays of the sun on Mount Kanchenjunga. The calmness will fill your heart with joy and your trip with memories. On your way back from the hill, you will be visiting Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. The monastery houses a massive statue of Lord Buddha carved in its premises.
After the tour, drive back to the hotel to have a delectable breakfast. Post that, you will proceed for sightseeing in Darjeeling. The tour will cover attractions like Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, Tenzing & Gumpo Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological Park. Day 4
On day 4, you will be visiting the top attractions on a Gangtok sightseeing tour. The best way to begin the journey is to visit holy places, hence Rumtek and Enchey monasteries. This will be followed by a visit to the Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten and Orchid Sanctuary, and the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms. After the tour ends, come back to the hotel for a sound sleep.
Day 5
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast and later leave for Tsomgo Lake. It's a glacial lake known for its charming beauty and is also known for holding spiritual importance as a Lord Shiva temple sits on its right bank. After the tour, you will be escorted to the hotel. Post that, you can go shopping at MG Road. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6
It's time to say goodbye to Gangtok and proceed to an onward destination. So, after breakfast, you will be assisted to the airport for your flight back home with cherishable memories.
